LogoRecord Terms of Service

1. What the service is

LogoRecord (operated by BISHU, a sole proprietorship registered in the Republic of Korea, issuing under the MarkHash name) produces a pre-screen record: a documented check of a logo and brand name against publicly available web image indexes and trademark registers, together with a cryptographic timestamp of the submitted file and a public verification page. The record states what was searched, where, and when.

2. What the service is not

The service does not provide legal advice, legal opinions, trademark clearance, infringement analysis, registrability assessments, or recommendations on whether to use or file a mark. Nothing in a record, on this site, or in our correspondence should be read as such. BISHU is not a law firm and does not act as a trademark attorney or agent.

3. No guarantee of completeness

Searches are limited to the sources, dates, and queries listed in each record. The absence of a match in searched sources does not mean no conflicting mark exists. The presence of a match is not a determination that a conflict exists.

4. Timestamp

The proof-of-existence timestamp evidences that a file with the stated hash existed at the stated time. It is not a registration, does not create or transfer rights, and its evidentiary weight depends on the jurisdiction and circumstances.

5. Your responsibilities

You confirm you have the right to submit the files and information. You are responsible for decisions made using the record, including whether to obtain professional clearance or legal advice.

6. Orders, delivery, refunds

Records are delivered electronically, normally within 48 hours of complete intake. Full refund before delivery. No refund after delivery, except where we confirm a listed source was not queried as stated, in which case we re-run the check or refund at our option. Matches found are not grounds for refund. Third-party registry searches ordered through us are non-refundable once placed with the provider.

7. Revisions

Re-checks issued under the same Record ID are numbered revisions. The verification page shows the latest revision and history. We may issue a superseding revision at no charge if a procedural error is found, and will notify you.

8. Verification page and badge

You may display the badge only for the logo and brand named in the record, linked to its verification page, without altering its wording. You may not present the record or badge as a clearance, certification, approval, or legal opinion. We may mark a record as revoked for misuse.

9. Data and files

Handling of files and personal data is described in the Privacy Policy. Registry inclusion is opt-in.

10. Intellectual property

You retain all rights in your logo. We own the report format and software. You receive a non-exclusive license to use the delivered record for your own purposes.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, BISHU's total liability arising from a record is limited to the amount paid for that record. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including losses arising from marketplace actions, oppositions, or disputes involving your mark.

12. Third-party providers

Web image search, registry data, timestamps, and payment are supplied by third parties whose availability and terms we do not control.

13. Changes

We may update these terms; the version in force is the one dated above. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

14. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Nothing in this clause deprives you of the protection of mandatory consumer-protection laws of the country in which you habitually reside, or of your right to bring proceedings in the courts of that country where such laws so provide.

Before starting any formal proceeding, you agree to contact us at support@logorecord.com and allow thirty (30) days for an informal resolution; thereafter, and subject to the foregoing, disputes may be brought in the courts of Seoul, Republic of Korea, which shall have non-exclusive jurisdiction.

Payment, refund, and tax matters are governed by the terms of Lemon Squeezy, our Merchant of Record.
